Scotland’s Places Research Clinic and Launch
Come and discover more about Scotland’s places and the people who lived there at the launch of the ScotlandsPlaces website, an innovative joint collaboration between the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland, and the National Archives of Scotland. By combining archival and heritage resources with an easy-to-use gazetteer and map-based interface, it reaches out to customers from the novice to the expert across Scotland and the world. The site marks the beginning of a new way in providing information about Scotland’s heritage.
