Inspiration & Returning Home - Glass artists Brodie Nairn and Nichola Burns
Returning back to their roots in Scotland after ten years of working abroad Brodie Nairn and Nichola Burns create an event which shows their journey and travel experiences through their glass artwork. Since returning to Scotland and settling in Tain they have established the highly acclaimed GLASSTORM studio. The artists will guide guests through a tour of the studio, before giving an exciting image based talk on glass making throughout the ages. A short glassblowing demonstration using a fusion of Italian, Scandanavian and their own Scottish techniques will conclude the event. If you enjoy glass and want to learn more about this fascinating medium then join Brodie and Nicky in an inspiring and informative event.
