Come Listen to the Crofters – storytelling by Bob Pegg & Christina Stewart
Come Listen to the Crofters is a spellbinding family entertainment which includes traditional stories, song and music. Capture the spirit of the old house ceilidhs that passed the evenings in the crofting communities of the Highlands and Islands, before emigration and clearance took their toll. Come Listen to the Crofters is an event whose development was commissioned by Forest Heritage Scotland, a Homecoming partnership project between Forestry Commission Scotland and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS). Suitable for older children (8+) and adults.
