Alasdair Fraser – Master Fiddler
Blazin’ in Beauly, the unique musical extravaganza hosted by Highland super group Blazin’ Fiddles, presents a Highland Homecoming concert that will be talked about for years to come!
Alasdair Fraser, originally from Clackmannanshire but with strong family roots in the Fraser heartland, has been resident in the United States for over two decades. Over this period he has become known worldwide as one of Scotland’s finest ever exponents of fiddle music. His partnership with cellist Natalie Haas draws the listener into an emotional rollercoaster - music with passion and completely inspiring. Add to the bill America’s top bluegrass folk outfit Crooked Still, a band which has been breaking boundaries with their take on American old time music, and Scotland’s finest Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis, and you have a night you’ll never forget.
